Jamie McCusker is a lifelong Burlington resident and a proud member of Lewis S. Mills Class of 1995.  She has spent years giving back to the community.  She served as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader for nine years, and as a director of the Burlington Land Trust for more than 14 years, including 2 years as president.  She was an elected member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for 4 years.

With a PhD in Computer Science and 10 years as a Research Director, Jamie brings strong problem-solving skills and a deep commitment to learning.  She believes schools work best when they are teacher-led, with classrooms focused on helping every student succeed.

Her message is simple:  Let teachers teach.  Let kids learn.
