John has served as an elected member of the Board of Finance since 2017.  As a board member, he has been tasked with safeguarding the assets Burlington taxpayers while ensuring money is spent in accordance with the voters’ appropriations approvals.   

Before retirement, John was a CPA and audit partner for a large regional public accounting firm in Connecticut.  His career experience brings essential financial skills, knowledge and insights to the Board of Finance. 

John never shies away from asking the tough questions of the town’s elected officials. He has been an invaluable member of the Board of Finance.
