Rob has served on the Planning and Zoning Commission since 2013.  During this time, the commission has made numerous improvements to our planning and zoning regulations including a new 10-year plan of conservation and development. Rob was a strong voice in the plan’s creation.

Rob worked as an attorney from 1977 until he retired in 2022.  His practice included a variety of legal areas including land use law. His knowledge and experience in this legal field bring important insights to his work on the commission and greatly benefits Burlington.

Rob has lived in Burlington with his wife Donna, since 1985. They were attracted to the town because of its rural character and charm with its mixture of small businesses, residential, agriculture and forest land. Their children, Sarah and Ben, were both educated in the Region 10 school system and are both Lewis Mills graduates.

If re-elected, Rob hopes to continue his work to preserve our town and make it an even better place to live.
