Samantha Sherman
For Board of Education
Samantha (Sam) Sherman has called Burlington home for over six years, where she lives with her husband, their five-year-old son, and their dog. With her son beginning kindergarten at Lake Garda this year, Sam wants to be actively involved in the school community and is committed to ensuring Region 10 schools remain places where every child can thrive, every teacher is supported, and every family feels heard.
Sam is Head of Product Strategy at a global digital consultancy, where she mentors teams and leads research for major organizations worldwide—skills she intends to channel into thoughtful and effective decision-making on the Board of Education. She serves on the Women in Leadership Advisory Board at the University of New Haven, mentors women in the MACH Alliance program, and contributes to the Junior League of Hartford. She is a strong leader with a passion for service and civic engagement.
A lifelong learner herself, Sam believes a strong school system is built on three essentials: empowering educators, listening to families, and fostering safe schools that prepare all students for success.
