Sharon has enjoyed living in Burlington since 1991.  She is an elected member of the Burlington Board of Zoning Appeals and the appointed member of the Burlington Economic Development Commission in charge of the Taste of Burlington.  She also is a member of the Burlington Historical Society and Burlington Land Trust.

Before retirement, Sharon ran her own certified public accounting practice. During that time, she was the accountant/controller for several homeowner associations and a tax district. She prepared financial statements and budgets for them and attended their finance committee meetings.

Sharon is honest and dependable.  Her extensive accounting experience, including governmental fund accounting, makes her highly qualified to serve on the Board of Finance. If elected, she will ensure that Burlington adequately plans for the future so that we don’t experience surprise tax hikes.
